BS 7671 is the UK’s national standard for low-voltage electrical installations (up to 1,000V AC or 1,500V DC). Its formal title is: "Requirements for Electrical Installations" It is commonly referred to as the IET Wiring Regulations (published jointly by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the British Standards Institution (BSI)).
