Let’s be real: Why not H.265? Voss’s team claims it was for "accessibility" (ensuring the film plays on a 2013 laptop). But watching GrayMail on a 4K OLED, I felt the strain. Action scenes (there are only two, but they are jarringly fast) reveal H.264’s weakness: during a sudden cut from a static room to a shaky-cam sprint, the bitrate spikes and you can see a split-second of blurring in the trailing edge of the motion. ★★★★☆ (4/5) GrayMail (H
