Most anime seasons are produced primarily to boost sales of the source material (the manga). The 2018 anime adapted roughly the first 6-7 volumes of the manga. Since the anime ended, manga sales saw their spike. Typically, studios see no financial reason to fund a second season once that initial boost is over. Here is the harsh reality for Hinamatsuri fans:

The anime was produced by feel. (known for OreGairu and Tsuki ga Kirei ). They have not announced any plans for a sequel. While they haven't ruled it out, the studio has moved on to other projects.
