Introduction The Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) is the primary administrative tool for managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in a Microsoft Windows Server Active Directory (AD) environment. It provides a unified interface to create, link, edit, back up, and troubleshoot GPOs across an entire domain. While local Group Policy can be edited with gpedit.msc , the GPMC is designed for domain-based policy management.
