For those of us who have been watching Ant and Dec since the Byker Grove days, we know there is a "Golden Era" of the jungle. For my money, is the absolute peak. And if you’ve recently grabbed the HDTVrip version of this season, you are in for a muddy, maggot-filled treat.
There is a specific, gritty texture to reality TV from the late 2000s. It wasn't polished 4K. The night vision was grainy. The sound of crickets was louder than the whispers in the Telegraph.
