Locasta Oz -

In the pantheon of Oz’s witches, Locasta (also known as the Good Witch of the North) is something of an enigma. She appears early in L. Frank Baum’s original 1900 book, greeting Dorothy after her house lands in Oz and crushing the Wicked Witch of the East. However, for most people, she’s been almost entirely erased from popular culture by the 1939 MGM film, which merged her role with Glinda the Good Witch of the South.
