Alric approached. His reflection stared back, but it was wrong. This reflection wore pristine armor. No scars. No cracks. It smiled. mighty knight 2
Alric had a choice. He could strike the mirror and shatter the illusion, but that would free the Lich-Queen directly. Or he could bargain. Or run. Elara rushed to him
Alric’s grip tightened. “You’re not my father. You’re the Lich-Queen’s whisper.” mighty knight 2
When the light faded, the mirror was gone. The bone-trees crumbled to harmless dust. The Lich-Queen’s scream echoed once, then vanished.
