Pin Website To Taskbar Chrome May 2026

✅ Now you can launch that website directly from your taskbar, and it will open in its own window (not a full Chrome tab). This pins the website as a shortcut, but it will still open inside your main Chrome window.

Make sure the website is open in a Chrome tab.

Click the lock icon (or “Not secure” / “View site information”) to the left of the website address in the address bar.

Right‑click that icon on the taskbar and select Pin to taskbar .
