Turns out, some scene releases used Cisco’s codec for encoding, which means: ✅ No patent headaches ✅ Cross-platform compatibility ✅ Rick-level efficiency

Some encodes of S03 used – an open-source video codec from Cisco. Why? No licensing fees, solid performance, and cross-platform support. Basically the Portal Gun of codecs. Just don’t ask Jerry to decode it
