Will pressed the talk button. Static screamed. He tried to speak, but his throat was full of ash and spider silk. He coughed. A wet, rattling sound.
Not the wet, clicking shriek of the Demogorgon. Something smaller. Something desperate.
“The walls?” Mike’s voice cracked. “That doesn’t make sense. You’re in the walls ?” stranger things season 1
He whispered into the walkie-talkie. “Mike. It’s me.”
“Tell my mom,” Will said, his voice suddenly calm, “that the Demogorgon isn’t the only thing that came through. There’s a girl. With a shaved head. She’s the key. She knows where the gate is.” Will pressed the talk button
“…Lucas thinks you’re gone. But I saw the lights, Will. At your house. Eleven said… she said you’re hiding. That you’re good at hiding.”
Will dropped the radio. He raised the empty shotgun. And for the first time in a week, he smiled—because he wasn’t alone anymore. The lights in the house blazed so bright they burned white. He coughed
“Will! WILL!”
