The screen fades in from black—soft focus on dew-covered cornfields, the crunch of boots on gravel. Lois Lane, now in her early 40s but still sharp as a tack, holds a chipped mug of coffee. She’s watching Jordan and Jonathan spar (playfully) in the yard. Jordan’s heat vision flickers—he quickly blinks it out.
