The Volto Santo di Lucca (Holy Face of Lucca) is a venerated wooden crucifix housed in the Cattedrale di San Martino (Duomo di Lucca) in Tuscany, Italy. According to tradition, it is a miraculous image of Christ carved by Nicodemus. The original is kept in the Tempietto (an octagonal temple) inside the cathedral. It is a major pilgrimage destination.
