That summer, she built a weather app that sent you a poem if rain was forecast. Then a recipe site that only accepted “bad” recipes (surprisingly popular). Then a tiny game where you clicked a potato and it grew legs.
The professor smiled. “That,” he said to the class, “is real web development.”
Angela opened the code live, found the line, fixed it, and refreshed. The login worked.
Angela took a breath. “That’s a bug,” she said. “I know exactly where it is. In the authentication middleware, I’m not handling expired sessions gracefully.”
Each project taught her something new. Each bug taught her patience. Each deployment taught her that perfection was not the goal— progress was.
